Speaker Rebecca Austill-Clausen had no psychic or spiritual skills prior to her brother David’s passage when she discovered the ability to communicate with David and multiple deceased people and spiritual entities. Rebecca has received extensive training in shamanism, Celtic and Peruvian pathways, nature spirits, automatic writing, personal growth, and complementary and integrative health modalities. She is an Occupational Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, hospice volunteer, and the first (and currently only) person to teach Reiki Level I and II at the American Occupational Therapy Association Annual Conference beginning in 2015.

American Occupational Therapy Annual Conference: “Reiki Level I and II – A Complementary and Integrative Health Modality Used With Occupational Therapy”

Am so excited to return to the AOTA Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA to present both Reiki Level I and Reiki Level II, for the 5th year in a row!

Please note that both Reiki workshops are being held in The New Orleans Marriott at 555 Canal Street, New Orleans. LA.

Reiki Level I: A Complementary and Integrative Health Modality Used with OT is presented as an Institute on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 12-6:30 pm.

Reiki history, philosophy, research, and AOTA documentation that supports the use of Reiki with OT are presented. Attunement to Reiki energy occurs followed by extensive experiential laboratory sessions that include giving, receiving, and sharing Reiki energy and experiences with multiple partners. Comprehensive complementary and integrative health resources and references are provided.

A Reiki Level I certificate will be received at the completion of this 6.0 contact hour workshop.

Reiki Level II: A Complementary and Integrative Health Modality Used with OT is presented in 6 hours with two back to back workshops the day after Reiki Level I, on Thursday, April 4, 2019, 8-11:00 am and 12-3:00 pm.

Attendees at Reiki Level II must have completed a Reiki Level I course with any Reiki Master. The scientific analysis of energy, vibrational explorations including sound healing, spirituality, and client empowerment are presented during this advanced training program. Current research, crystalline energy, and long distance healing are explored. Reiki symbology is taught to facilitate the cognitive use of Reiki healing techniques. Extensive lab experiential practice occurs with multiple partners.

Participants need to attend both Reiki II workshops. A Reiki Level II certificate in the Usui Natural Healing System is received at the conclusion of these two adjoining advanced workshop presentations designed for OT practitioners, faculty, and students.

Thrilled to return to the University of the Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy for two days of Reiki training with OT students, faculty, and practitioners. Attendees are welcome to attend one or both days of this exciting program sponsored by the Student OT Association. A Reiki Level I certificate from any Reiki Master is required to attend the advanced Reiki Level II program offered on the second day of training.

Friday, March 15, Reiki and OT, Level I covers Reiki history, philosophy, attunement and use of Reiki healing energy.

Duquesne University/POTA: The Healing Power of Reiki and Occupational Therapy: Level 1 for all OT Practitioners and Students

Reiki, an energy healing complementary health modality facilitates stress reduction, relaxation, reduces pain and aids self-healing. Reiki combined with OT can improve a client’s occupational performance.

AOTA has supported the use of complementary modalities since 2005. Attunement to Reiki energy, hand positions, and extensive experiential practice occurs. Documentation, billing, marketing and dozens of OT resources and research is provided. Sound healing meditations with crystal singing bowls and vibrational instruments are included. A Reiki and OT – Level I certificate will be presented at the completion of this 6.0 hour workshop provided by POTA and Duquesne University.
